How long is a blitz?
Our standard blitz is two weeks. We do not run anything shorter than three days because the travel is not worth it for you or for us. Two weeks is the sweet spot: long enough to hit real volume, short enough to have a life.
Who pays for travel and housing?
It depends on the blitz. On many trips Embarc covers housing, travel and a per diem. On some, reps cover their own. Before you commit to any blitz we tell you exactly what is covered, in writing. No surprises at the airport.
I have never knocked a door. Can I still go?
Yes. Every blitz has a lane for first timers. You are paired with an experienced closer for your first days, you run the same script the top reps run, and most rookies close their first deal inside 48 hours.
How and when do I get paid?
Per confirmed install, as a commission, paid every Monday. Installs that confirm during week one pay the following Monday, so you see money before the blitz is even over. Independent contractor, so plan for your own taxes.
Where do blitzes happen?
Wherever a carrier just turned on fiber. We run 35 carriers across 42 states, so there is almost always a hot build somewhere. Tell us when you are available and we match you to the next one.
What do I need to bring?
A smartphone, a photo ID for your badge, black clothes, good shoes, and a bag you can live out of for two weeks. Badge, gear, tablet access and training are on us.
What happens after I submit?
A blitz lead texts you within 24 hours. Quick call about your experience, your dates and where you are coming from. Then you get slotted into the next blitz that fits and we send you the trip details.
